We are remembering Aunt Erma today and thinking of her family as we near the one year anniversary of her passing. She was a lovely lady. She and Uncle Hank left us with so many happy memories. Of Mabel Lawrence's children, she lived to be the oldest, at over 90 years! In our memories, she will ever remain young and loving. She has been a blessing to all of us. Fondly remembered and sadly missed. Forever in our minds...
Rest in Peace Aunt Erma. You were one of my BEST Aunts. Miss all of you Ellingsons. So many memories..... I think your house was where Jeff made me ride his bike :) She will join mom and all of the sibs in heaven, and I hope to meet them there one day. It will be a wonderful day for me.
We are so sorry for your loss. When I think of Ermie the word "sweet" comes to mind. We so much enjoyed her. When talking about cards I can still hear her say, "I don't cheat!" and smack an arm of the of the accuser. My favorite memory is one of Kathy and I getting ready for a youth group Halloween dance. We were dressing as clowns. Ermie laughed and said we sounded like a couple teenagers goofing around. She kinda helped make me feel like one, not a mom of a couple. Through the sadness of her passing it brings great joy to my heart that she is now with Hank and can only imagine what that must be like for both of them. Love and prayers to all who love her.
