Condolence From: Noey & Bud
Condolence: Dear Aunt Erma Jean, You have gone to be with all those who have gone on before you. You have left us with your beautiful smile and, oh, so many wonderful memories of days together with you. I remember, especially, my very young days, spent visiting you, Hazel and Doris (the "girls") when you lived with "Mom" (my Grandma Lawrence) in Pop Wendt's house on Mulberry Street in Lake Mills. I recall you walking downtown with me, to listen to "phonograph records" in the hardware store. Those old '78's were "all the rage". I remember you talking with me and telling me stories. I do admit to serious jealousy when you introduced Hank as your intended husband, to your family. You had always referred to me as your "little boyfriend" and I had considered you to be my girlfriend! You can imagine my consternation... I told Hank that he was nothing but a Big Shot. As time went by, I learned that he was one of my nicest uncles. He sang to me and played his mouth organ. He could sing "Trot, My Little Pony" and "All the Dogs say Bow Wow, All the Cats say Meow". How can a person not love a man like that? Dear Aunt, It's time to say Good Bye, for now; but not forever. I'll join you, in the sweet by and by... Love, Your Little Boyfriend
