Obituary for
Gerald L. Trottier
Gerald L. Trottier, 63, of Aurora, Wis. passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Golden Living Center, Florence.
He was born November 10, 1951, in Norway, Mich., son of the late Bernard and Stephanie (Hohol) Trottier.
Jerry grew up in Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School, Class of 1970. He went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Madison where he received his Associate Degree in X-Ray Technology. Jerry worked for Dickinson County Healthcare System starting as a nurse, then worked in supplies, and finally as an X-Ray Technologist for over 30 years, retiring in 2002.
He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara. Jerry enjoyed putting together model tanks of all sorts, watching old war movies, hunting and fishing; he was a History buff. His family was everything to him and he cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews.
Jerry is survived by two sisters, Sandra Trottier Edick, Niagara and Donna (Rick) Kalkofen, Goodman, Wis.; one step-son, Michael (Amy) Lippert, Norway, Mich.; one step-daughter, Veronica Beltran, Calif.; three nephews, Brian (Kellie), Brandon (Ashley) and David; five nieces, Toni, Sherry (Jerry), Danielle, Heidi and Melissa; twelve great-nieces and nephews, Cassie, Tim, Storm, Ivorie, Brenden, Ashley, Connor, Chance, Hunter, Tieley, Tabatha and Jeramiah; three step-grandchildren, Kya, Jonathon and Benjamin and one sister-in-law, Rhonda Trottier, Niagara.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Timothy Trottier and one great-niece, Nicole Trottier.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 26, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. Fr. Matt Settle will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wis.
