Lois Mae Krenn (Empey)
Niagara-Lois M. Krenn, age 88, of Niagara, WI, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016, at ManorCare Health Services, Kingsford, MI.
She was born on February 1, 1928 in Marinette, WI, daughter of the late Joseph and Wilhemenia (Rhode) Empey.
Lois graduated from Niagara High School, Class of 1946. She married Carl Krenn on October 29, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1999.
She was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara, where she was a choir member for 35 years. Lois was also an active member of the Niagara Area Historical Society.
Lois is survived by one sister, Barbara (Alvin) Liikanen, Bessemer, MI, one daughter, Sharon (Ron) Stephens, Ramona, CA, three sons; Alan (Ruth) Krenn, Tuscon, AZ, Carl (Marge) Krenn, Niagara, WI, Randy (Lynn) Krenn Milwaukee, WI, 6 grandchildren; Brian, Ronald, Jody, Amy, Stacey and Alissa, 5 great-grandchildren; Carl, Caleb, Jack, Boss and Logan, numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carl, Lois was preceded in death by one brother, James Empey.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, 11:00 AM at the Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, WI. Rev. Fr. Matt Settle will officiate.
