Obituary for
Kenneth A. Baiel
Florence-Kenneth A. Baiel, 70, of Florence, Wis., passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at his home.
He was born on August 10, 1946 in Menominee, Mich., son of the late Henry and Loretta (Harter) Baiel. Ken grew up in Menominee and graduated from Marinette Catholic Central High School. He attended Northern Michigan University. Ken served our country in the United States Army. He married Alicia Fox on September 26, 1997 in Iron Mountain, Mich. They resided in Florence and Ken worked for Eagle Tool Company as a precision grinder for 10 years.
He enjoyed hunting, cooking and especially the time he spent with his family and friends. Ken was an animal rescuer and loved his pets.
Ken is survived by his wife, Alicia; four sons, Nathaniel Baiel, Manitowoc, Wis., Shannon Baiel, Cheboygan, Mich., Andrew Hicks and Aric (Amber) Hicks, both of Iron Mountain, Mich.; one daughter, Chelsea Kramer, Green Bay, Wis.; one brother, Gerald (Connie) Baiel, Apple Valley, Minn.; six grandchildren, Cecilia, Victoria, Lucas, Mason, Addison and Jacob; two nephews, Steven and David (Stephanie).
A gathering and celebration of Ken’s life will be announced.
