Obituary for Larry W. Roe
Amasa-Larry W. Roe, 73, of Amasa, Mich., passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at UP Healthcare System, Marquette, Mich.
He was born November 1, 1943 in Wabash, Indiana, son of the late Vople and Gladys (Wright)Roe. Larry attended school in Vincennes, Indiana. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Larry worked in civil service, driving equipment and loading airplanes.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Robertson on January 17, 1963 in Anchorage, Alaska where they resided for over 40 years. They have been residents of Amasa for the past 15 years.
Larry was a member of the Roe’s Riders Motorcycle Club and enjoyed finding and selling unique items. He also enjoyed taking car rides to see the sights and wildlife.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia Roe, Amasa; one son, Jeff Roe, Amasa; two brothers, Robert (Sue) Roe and Herb Roe, both of Indiana and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Leroy and Tom; and by one sister, Joan.
Graveside service will be held at a later date at Lind Center Cemetery, Waupaca, Wis.
