Obituary for Wanda F. Osterberg (Hollingsworth)

Florence-Wanda F. Osterberg, 67, of Florence, Wis., passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at her home.

She was born October 16, 1949 in Norway, Mich., daughter of the late Claude and Eunice (McEwing) Hollingsworth. Wanda grew up in Beecher, Wis. and graduated from Pembine High School. She resided most of her life in Niagara before moving to Florence in 2005.

Wanda was united in marriage to Richard Osterberg on December 23, 1999 at the First Presbyterian Church, Kingsford, Mich.

She worked for Marinette County Elderly Services, Maryhill Manor Nursing Home for 10 years and the Lakeside Bed and Breakfast of Florence. Wanda enjoyed decorating, shopping, garage sales where she was able to visit and socialize and most of all the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of 17 years, Richard; children, Clint (Amy) Chartier, Robbyn (Bryan) Larson; step-children, Lisa Osterberg, David (Robin) Osterberg, Benjamin (Pam) Osterberg, Alan Osterberg and Kristin (Lon) Weber; grandchildren, Chaz Zazon, McGwire and Dayne Fahrenbruch, Carson and Chloe Chartier, Samuel, Nathaniel and Riley Osterberg; one brother, Richard (Bonnie) Hollingsworth and a very special aunt, Mary Hord.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Kingsford. A memorial service will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. Michael March will officiate. Burial will be in Aurora Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church Pavilion Fund in Wanda’s memory.
