Kingsford-Dale E. Fox, 75, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at ManorCare Health Services, Kingsford, Mich.

He was born June 22, 1942, in Iona, Mich., son of the late Elwyn J. and Vivian R. (Wilson) Fox. After his mother’s death, Dale moved to the Upper Peninsula with the family and attended Tahquamenon Area Schools in his youth.

He served in the United States Army and upon his honorable discharge moved to Kingsford. Dale worked in various positions throughout his career but was most notably a self-employed truck driver for many years before retiring.

He enjoyed collecting model cars and trucks and told the most interesting stories about life on the family farm and his travels both truck driving and in the military.

Dale will be lovingly remembered by one son Robert Fox, Norway, Mich.; one daughter, Jennifer Peoples, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Kaylyn; one sister-in-law Bonnie Fox of Newberry; one sister Vicky Geldersma of West Olive; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by two brothers Lynn Fox and Danny Fox; one sister Lois Sorenson; Step-Mother, Dorothy Fox; two stepbrothers Ron and Larry Phillips and grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the spring at Columbus Township Cemetery in McMillan, Mich.
