Iron Mountain-Peter M. “Pete” Tousignant, age 69 of Niagara, Wis., passed away peacefully Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis. with family by his side.
Pete was born October 9, 1949 in Negaunee, Mich., son of the late Pete and Theresa (Lequia) Tousignant. He proudly served in the U.S Navy and was a retired Milwaukee County Bus Driver.
Pete enjoyed fishing, target shooting, playing the slot machines, playing guitar, listening to bands as well as traveling the country on his trike with Kathy to “get away and fly”. He lived life to the fullest and will be missed by many!
He is survived by his wife Kathy of 16 years; two daughter’s Melissa and Theresa; two son’s Matt and P.J.; three brother’s Fred (Carol), Dennis (Julie) and Tom (Jorge); two sisters Linda (Karl) and Mary (Thom); fourteen grandchildren Ashlie, Marissa, Hailey, Carly, Audrey, Carter, Lilly, Laylah, Opal, Kaylynn, Robert, Johnathan, Brooklyn and Alana; and by many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his oldest son Jason.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Funeral services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Ray Valerio will officiate. The American Legion Uren-Cooper-Johnson Post #50 of Iron Mountain, will accord military honors at the funeral home.
