Caryn resides in Spread Eagle with her husband Fred and dog Ripley.
She graduated from Florence High School Class of 1984 and Bay College with an AA Degree in Business Administration and a minor from LSSU in Accounting.
Caryn is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Iron Mountain Unit #50 and has served as Membership Chair, Treasurer and President.
