Obituary for
Ellen M. Sternhagen (Sandberg)
Ellen M. Sternhagen, 64, of Aurora, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in Green Bay, Wis. after a courageous and long illness.
She was born June 3, 1950, in Medford, Ore. daughter of Edward Sandberg and Helen (Clark) Grisenti.
Ellen grew up and resided in California and moved to Florence, Wis. in 1981. She owned and operated Ellen’s Craft Creations from 1991 until 2001. Ellen was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Florence. She served as Clerk for the Town of Fern for many years and was the Clerk and Treasurer for the Florence County Fair. Ellen enjoyed ceramics and loved making cards and candles. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Grisenti, Orange, Calif.; three daughters, Shaundya (Robert Neuens) Sternhagen, Aurora, Victoria Sternhagen, Sweden and Maureen (Greg) Klose, Aurora; five siblings, David (Laura) Sandberg, Orange, Calif., Michael (Cynthia) Sandberg, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Sandra (David) Quezada, Chino Hills, Calif., Frank Grisenti, Orange, Calif., and Tim (Christie) Grisenti, Orange, Calif.; four grandchildren, Hope, Daniel, Robert Rodney Jr. and Sebastian and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Edward, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Walter and Mildred Sternhagen and step-father, Rudy Grisenti.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Doug Johnson will officiate.
The family has chosen the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence to honor Ellen’s Legacy of Life.
