Spread Eagle-Dani L. Hazelwood, 55, of Spread Eagle, Wis., passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.

He was born September 26, 1961 in Dixon, Ill., son of Francis and Helen (Kemp) Hazelwood. Dani grew up and graduated from Florence High School. He worked with his father all his life doing excavating and construction work. Dani loved people and could always be found helping others. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding 4 wheelers and especially the time he spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Francis and Helen Hazelwood, Spread Eagle; one son, Brad (Dawn) Hazelwood, Iron Mountain, Mich.; two daughters, Brieanne Hazelwood, Iron Mountain, and Katie Hazelwood, Kingsford, Mich.; one sister, Tamara (Billy) Zoeller, Norway, Mich.; six grandchildren and one niece.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence, Wis. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in the spring.
